Robbers kill guard, take large amount of cash in Indian capital

Unidentified men on Saturday opened fire at a cash van outside ATM kiosk in a northern part of the Indian capital New Delhi, killing a security guard and taking away over 300,000 U.S. dollars in cash, said police. The incident took place at Kamala Nagar, near Delhi University’s North Campus, which is inhabited by students mainly.

This is the second time that robbers attacked ATM in daylight in the Indian capital in recent months, amid an incessant increase of crimes in the city.
